The Naaicafe (Sewing cafe) where I take my sewing lessons for the past couple of years, has a new concept 'Model of the week'. With this Model of the week they have one (easier) garment that you can make in a couple of hours. To show the garments for this Model of the week in the cafe big posters are displayed in the shop window. The cafe asked me to 'model for a day' to take pictures of the clothing. A great experience and my hair never looked this good :) So what's the endresult? The one on the right was selected for the poster.

I have created some more pillow covers. Lovely thick fabric in stripes and print. The sizes are 40 * 60 cm and 50 * 50 cm. Together they form a nice combo.
After the first baby blanket was finished so quickly, I couldn't wait to start on the second one. This one is for my little nephew Max of 6 months old. The yarn used here is from Phildar, partner 6, that I got from SasKnitsItAgain. My new favourite yarn!
Last week I started with my first new project: The baby blanket for a newborn girl. The yarn from Phildar is lovely to work with, really soft, and thick (Thanks @sasknitsitagain). The ripple pattern used here is super easy, it's from 200 ripple stitch patterns by Jan Eaton, nr 8. I am really happy with the result, and look forward to give it as a present soon!
