Yes, another blanket! But this one is made from South African yarn, which makes it really special to me as it reminds me of the vacation I spent there a couple of years ago. The yarn is Aran Pure Gold by Elle, and it is very, very soft. The blanket was finished some months ago, but still needed the finishing touch of removing all the loose threads. The blanket measures approximately 1,50 m by 0,80 m, and is crocheted with a 5 mm crochet hook. The pattern is super easy: double crochet, chain, double crochet, etc and then in the next row the double crochet is made in the chains of the previous row. There is no specific colour order, I just added colours and rows on the go. I have three more balls of Ivory coloured yarn to make a border with, which will probably have the same style as the pattern for the blanket. So actually this is still a little bit of work in progress blankie ;) I will show you the result when the border is finished.
